Tintin and his dog Snowy saw a beautiful model of a ship in the town. He wanted it so he bought it soon, and named it the Unicorn. Then a man behind Tintin said 'I would like to buy that model.' His name is Sakharine and said that a long time ago Sir Francis Haddock made three models of ship, the Unicorn and Sakharine have one and want to give them all back to a Haddock now. But Tintin didn't give it to Sakharine and walked home with the ship.
At home, When Tintin put the ship on a table, suddenly a cat and Snowy jumped and ran inside the room and Snowy broke the ship! Then he saw an old scroll inside it. It said something but he wasn't able to read it.
Suddenly some men were outside with a big box and they put Tintin in the box and took him away with Snowy. There were ropes around Tintin's hands and feet and Sakharine appeared on a ship. He was angry and tell Tintin to be going to find Tintin's model ship and the three scroll. Then he walked out of the room. Snowy helped Tintin with the ropes and they were able to went outside by using it.
Snowy and Tintin met a man in a new, dark room. He is Captain Haddock. Tintin found a door and opened it. Tintin asked how to get off this ship. Then Haddock recommended using a small boat.
Tintin heard some sound and found the radio room. He found some paper in the room and it said 'The Milanese singer has the third scroll in Bagghar.
